Espinho is sired by Espano Estopa. who was bred by the Australian Redwood Lodge Arabian stud. Espano Estopa came to Europe in 1998 where he was shown in Paris and became Junior World Champion.
Espano Estopa died suddenly in 2006 at the ago of 11 years.
His son Espinho has been awarded with the silver medal the German stallion licensing show in 2006 but has been gelded in the meantime. He's now full-time riding horse beeing Danish Champion in dressage for Arabians in 2011 and Danish Champion in Show jumping for Arabians in 2014.
