Pyramid Nour El Nil K

The Straight Egyptian mare Pyramid Nour El Nil K was bred and owned by Uwe Jürgen Wagner of Pyramid Arabian Stud in Germany. Born in 2005, she is characterized by the subtle white ticking in her tail typical of rabicanos.
Her sire, Al Lahab (Laheeb x The Vision HG), has been one of the most influential Straight Egyptian stallions in Germany. Al Lahab earned international acclaim as Senior World Champion Stallion in Paris (2006), World Silver Champion Stallion (2009) and Senior Champion Stallion at the All Nations Cup in 2006. His sire Laheeb was by Imperial Imdal out of AK Latifa. Al Lahab’s dam was the black mare The Vision HG (Thee Desperado x Belle Staar) who became foundation mare at Ariela Arabians in Israel with an impressive breeding record.
The dam of Pyramid Nour El Nil K, Bint Kahila (Al Kidir x Kahila), was one of the key foundation mares at Pyramid Arabian Stud. A bay mare of elegant type, she produced seven foals, including three full siblings to Pyramid Nour El Nil K: Pyramid Lahara K, exported to Bebo Stud in Egypt in 2005; Pyramid Layyan K, recipient of a Silver Ribbon from the German Arabian Horse Association in 2006; and Pyramid Kahileh K. Through Bint Kahila, Pyramid Nour El Nil K traces to Kaythara, a mare bred in Egypt and imported to Germany by Siegfried and Brigitte Kübe in 1976. Kaythara became a cornerstone of the Al Sachra, Brigittenhof breeding program, representing the Saklawiyah strain descending from the desert-bred mare Mabrouka of the Inshass Stud in Egypt.
Pyramid Nour El Nil K contributed to the Pyramid breeding program with one registered foal, the bay filly Pyramid Sarafina (by Shagran Al Nasser, 2010).
She was shown successfully in halter classes and consistently placed.
